How long does it take to collect my car?
Once you agree the price, we will contact you and make arrangements to collect the vehicle on a date and time that is suitable which can be as soon as just a few days. Collection itself shouldn’t take very long at all, usually around 15-30 minutes, but may take longer depending on the location of the vehicle and how difficult it is to remove.
What do I need to provide at collection?
In order to make the process as quick as possible you should ideally have; Registration document (V5C), photo I.D, a recent utility bill, the car key, and locking wheel nut key if your car has alloy wheels, and any other paperwork you may have for the car would be useful.
Do I need to inform the DVLA?
Yes, it is your legal responsibility to inform the DVLA that you are no longer the owner or keeper of the vehicle and that it has been scrapped. We will complete Section 9 of the V5C and hand this back to you, following which it should be posted immediately to DVLA. Alternatively, you can notify the DVLA online. If you do not have a V5C then once the vehicle has been handed over, you should send a letter to DVLA informing them of the transfer of ownership.
