How is A Lexus Scrapped?

Once a pick-up date has been agreed to pick up your Lexus, we will come and collect your vehicle free of charge and take it straight to the scrap yard. We will remove valuable parts that can be sold on and then the vehicle will be crushed and recycled.

Hazardous materials will also be removed during the vehicle scrapping process, including the lead-acid battery, gas tanks and air bags. The other parts that will be removed are the tyres, oils, fuels and if your car has one – a catalytic converter. Once this process is complete, the vehicle can be crushed and the plastic and metals can be recycled.
